The ESP’s unique features allow the product to address patient deficits in flexion, extension, pronation and supination; all in one product! Lantz Medical is committed to bringing innovative products to the rehabilitation industry and the ESP is no exception. The ESP provides specific benefits for patients with elbow limitations where current products fall short.

Distal Biceps Rupture – When early PROM is indicated due to contracture formation, the repair may be protected during elbow extension by rotating the forearm into pronation. When no precatutions or contraindications exist regarding PROM and maximum biceps musculotendenous elongation is desired the forearm may be rotated into supination during elbow extension.

UCL Repair – Positioning the Forearm in supination allows for additional biomechanical protection of the repair during elbow flexion and extension.
Lateral UCL Repair – Positioning the forearm in pronation allows for additional biomechanical protection of the repair during elbow flexion and extension.Complex Elbow Fractures – Distal humerus fractures that result in quad directional loss of motion may now be addressed with a ROM device that will divide the overall wear time in half.

Static/Dynamic Combination Therapy - Option to choose either dynamic and/or static progressive tissue elongation therapy at multiple joints as the flexion/extension plane may present with a hard end feel whereas the forearm rotation joint may present with a soft end feel.

Features

  • Infinite ROM & 3/4 radial based forearm cuff assures anatomically correct rotation.
  • Two hinges to address Flexion/Extension and Pronation/Supination.
  • Static and/or dynamic tissue elongation therapy in one product
  • Custom cuffs for maximum soft tissue capture facilitating terminal end ROM
  • Dynamic mode (LLPS) may be used for soft to moderate end feels during long rest periods
  • Static Progressive mode (SPS) may be used to address moderate to hard end feels
